Five Minute Fitness Tip 1

T-grid - shuffle and sprint

Repeat 5 times.Rest 60 seconds between repetitions.


This five minute fitness drill can be used during your training sessions for a quick break to help coaching points sink in, or as an incentive for a drinks break.
Side-shuffles - face forward and move feet sideways.
Put cones down in a T pattern, 10 x 10 yards.
1. Start at the top of the T and side-shuffle to the top cone on the right and back to the centre.
2. Shuffle to the bottom cone and back to the centre.
3. Sprint down the middle of the T.
Vary size of the T for different age groups.
