The official opening of Valeview Shankill Schoolboys.

Clubhouse officially opened in Summer 2006 by Des Cahill and Pat Devlin. The completion of this much needed facility was as a result of the dedicated work of a number of people but special thanks must go to Jack Lynam, Martin O Carroll and Annette Quigley.
Improvements continue to be carried out to the clubhouse throughout the year.
There was general improvement in the standards and performances of the various football teams in the 2006/2007 season. Special note to be given to the under 10 who came second in their league.

In addition to the annual subscriptions, fundraising is a key element to maintain a healthy financial standing for the club. Fundraising enables the annual subscriptions to be maintained at a modest level, to purchase team equipment and to cover the annual running costs of the club. There were two successful fundraising events undertaken during the year – a draw and a quiz night. Many thanks to all who assisted with these events. Grant applications were also submitted to VEC, Dublin Bus and the Dormant Accounts. A grant of was received from the VEC and it is hoped that favourable decisions will be had from the others.
