The Story Behind the Crest

The club's crest was created in 1988 and depicts the smelting chimney of the old lead mines, prominent in the hills behind the village.

A shield at the centre of the crest shows a footballer, representing the sport played by the club, while the full club name and its original year of formation are also displayed at the top and bottom of the crest respectively.
